Antwoord van SkatePro: I'm sorry to read that your son is not very happy with his skateboard. This could have several reasons.
The bushings in the trucks, are comparable to shoes. They need to be worn in for a while, before they bent along with his movements. This could take a few kilometers. In the start it is quite normal that the board turns a bit to one side. Normally this goes away by time, but you could try to loosen the lock nut on the king pin a bit. The king pin is the big bolt that holds the trucks onto the deck. Sometimes this solves the problem, sometimes you have to straighten the bushings a bit, if they are out of place.
If this doesn't work, it could be that your son it a bit too light for this board. His weight could be too low to pressure the deck enough to make the bushings smoother/softer. It could help to replace the bushings with softer ones, so that he has to do less effort to make the board turn.
Feel free to contact us with some pictures of the board, so that we can have a look, to be sure there is no defect. Maybe we could ship you some new bushings for free, if none of the above works.
